The helpdesk is the first point of contact for most IT-related queries in the Department. The helpdesk is staffed by the Computer Operators, and they will either answer your query directly, or they will pass it on to someone else who can help. Contact the helpdesk at:

IT support in the research Divisions and groups is largely provided through IT staff working within the Divisions, and they are normally the first point of contact in those areas. However, if you have a query relating to central Departmental IT services, you can also contact the IT Services Helpdesk directly, as above. If your query is best handled by your Divisional support staff, the helpdesk will pass it to them.
